ILIPS Group International Recovery Continues

Focus on Aviation & Marine USA

The recovery of ILIPS Group International continues publication by publication following our final move to Reno, Nevada, in order to puruse litigation against Racketeers here in Reno, who have systematically attempted to destroy the credibility of our News Group and its Editor, Mark S. "Bear" Daniels (Yours Truly, the writer of this article...) who has been reporting on a case Major Fraud directed against the United States Government by the Airport Authority of Washoe County, Nevada (AAWC), the Reno Air Racing Association (RARA), the Reno Air Racing Foundaton (RARF), Wayne Sagar/AAFO.Com and others, including members of the United States Government itself and in particular, the Department of Transportation (DoT) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

The issues revolving around the controversies can be seen at present at www.silverstatenews.com and will later be viewable at our Water Works Case website at www.waterworkscase.com .

At present, we are focusing on traffic at two publications and attempting to rebuild others. In the same time, we have added additional URLs in order to add to our News coverage in the future.

Aviation & Marine is intended as our centerpiece for Aerospace & Maritime News and has not fared well during all of this. However, traffic overall is back up and the publication is holding its own at this time, when we are approximately two months away from going "for profit" via Advertising, Photography and Product sales. Here are the statistics for the past few months at Aviation & Marine, which shows traffic slightly down at this time overall, the appearance that traffic is down this month ~ which would be correct ~ but one factor that must be considered is our consolidation of multiple news stories on a single, large page, as this hides on one hand, the actual distinct page hits we're receiving, but on the other, gives us a clearer view of the number of readers we actually have. We believe our distinct page hits would be two to three times higher if each story was on its own separate page, which was and remains our intended goal. Due to "The Troubles," we have instead, and for the sake expedience, combined multiple stories on the large page for ease of reporting news while our focus has been on Court Cases, Family Issues, Moving (due to the affects of the Court cases and our need to take of business throughout the American Southwest) and Health issues, the former causing tremendous interference in our publishing, particularly due to the slander and libel campaign we are enduring as directed against us by Michael J. "Mickey Da Rat" Houghton and RARA (along with their agents and vectors), with the latter causing an immense strain on this Editor's health and being nothing more or less than horrendous.

Damage to our expansion plans in terms of delay caused by the obstacles thrown in our way by the criminal element has been significant.

Still, we're still here and so too, is this Editor.

Also, October traffic is still being accumulated at this time of writing, October 9, 2008 (October 10, 2008, in Australia), thus, we are viewing these statistics and making changes as we speak which will hopefully result in a higher traffic count very soon:

Our current traffic count at Aviation & Marine USA.Com reflects neglect of the sites during moves, down time caused by a lightning strike and other issues related to health. We've had some other technical difficulties, including the fact we're attempting to transition our home page stories to locations inside the publication in order to create a home page that reflects International Aerospace & Maritime News from all countries, not just the primary countries of coverage, which are the United States and Australia.

Our goal is to have Headquarters for domestic operations here in the United States and international operations Headquartered in Australia, an area we feel could present a significant foundation for Aerospace in the near and long term future, including into one of the business areas we are seeking to diversify into, and that's Air Racing & Air Show Event Management & Operation.

So, at present, though traffic appears down, we hope to have reader visits and distinct page hits on the rise by the end of November. Also, and for example, our traffic in September showed a count of 85,864 distinct page hits versus 101,408 in May. So we are down in terms of traffic per month, however, on the flip side, if our news stories were dispersed onto single pages, we believe our distinct page hits would reflect greater traffic amounts two to three times more than what is shown for example, in September. Thus, September distinct page hits would be in the vicinity of 171,728 to 257,592 distinct page hits.

We won't know with certainty what our distinct page hits actually will be until we disperse stories back on to single pages for our readers and reduce the size of the home page, which is enormous at this time. The home page alone may represent as much as "100 pages" of news stories all by itself and thus, our distinct page hits should be higher, though the current traffic count is more reflective of the number of readers entering the site to view the materials we have here.

So, all-in-all, things looking good for our recovery and beyond that, we still have litigation in process, whether or not one of our cases is dismissed at this point in time, as one is indeed threatened by a Notice of Intent to Dismiss coming from the Court Clerk, but surprisingly, not coming from the Judge set to hear the matter. The Court has failed to issue orders accepting the lawsuit and instructing us to serve documents, and all this publication can do is wait and inquire as to activity by the Court in this case.

The move to Reno has allowed us greater capability to monitor and aggressively pursue the cases, but in this one directed as Daniels vs Reno Air Racing Association et all, there has been a tremendous amount of behind the scenes intrigues and "hanky panky" that we have now challenged the Court to explain, in terms of keeping the case alive. If the case is dismissed, we will file the appropriate complaints in regards to misconduct by all the guilty parties and shall definitely appeal the decision. We have two other cases that this Editor will shortly be fighting in the Las Vegas area and intend to bring all together as all the cases are related to one another by an Entrapment effort that occurred in 2005.

That effort failed miserably and the guilty parties that conducted it, which include two District Court Judges, a Municipal Court Judge, the Reno City Attorneys Office and a renegade member of the Reno Police Department among others, must pay for their crimes. The effort therefore, will be included in the Major Fraud lawsuit to be filed on or about January 1, 2009.

That's all for now and we will see you with our new statistics following the end of October and on a monthly basis thereafter. This section will be a permanent feature at all ILIPS Group publications that we are monitoring, though there may be more publications out there that go unmonitored as we work out the bugs in this system.

Australia's Qantas begins scheduled service with the A380
22 October 2008

The first A380 scheduled flights between Australia and the U.S. West Coast has been inaugurated by Qantas with its introduction of Melbourne-Los Angeles service.

Qantas made history this week with its inauguration of A380 scheduled service, marking the 21st century flagship aircraft's first commercial round-trip flight between Australia and the U.S. West Coast, and saving thousands of kilograms of carbon emissions under a multinational environmental initiative.

The milestone flight departed Melbourne at 11h15 on 20 October for its Pacific crossing to Los Angeles International Airport, where the aircraft was greeted by public officials and celebrities - including Australian singer Olivia Newton-John and actor John Travolta.

Passengers praised the A380's comfort and its smoothness, while spectators and news reporters gave the aircraft high marks for its quiet operation during the Los Angeles arrival and on two subsequent takeoffs - one for a local demonstration tour, and the other for its flight home to Australia.

The return trip from Los Angeles to Melbourne is estimated to have saved thousands of kilograms of carbon emissions as part of an initiative to highlight the potential for environmentally-friendly operations on trans-Pacific flights. This effort is organized by the Asia and South Pacific Initiative to Reduce Emissions (ASPIRE) - which involves Airservices Australia, the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration and Airways New Zealand.

Under the ASPIRE programme, the Qantas A380 used electrical power on the ground in Los Angeles rather than running its auxiliary power unit, and it was given priority clearance from air traffic control for taxi and departure. After takeoff, the flight was issued a priority departure route and unimpeded climb through to cruise altitude, allowing it to reach the optimum cruise altitude as quickly and efficiently as possible. In addition, the A380 flew a user-preferred route for the most efficient path (taking into account winds and aircraft weight), and was provided two real time updates of current weather and wind conditions that allowed the flight crew to modify their flight path.

Qantas will increase its A380 international service as the airline builds up its 20-aircraft fleet. The carrier plans to start Sydney-Los Angeles flights later this month, followed in January 2009 by Australia-London service, operated via Singapore.

Los Angeles International Airport will be a major operating point for A380s as Airbus customers utilise this U.S. West Coast hub facility for their service to numerous international destinations.

During the A380's layover in Los Angeles on 20 October, Qantas organised a two-hour special flight for approximately 200 travel agents, journalists and public officials, which included a flyover of the Golden Gate bridge near San Francisco.

Emirates Welcomes First Flight into Los Angeles

Gateway to Hollywood Advances American Expansion for Dubai-based Airline

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Emirates, one of the world’s fastest-growing international airlines, commenced its Los Angeles service yesterday, as Flight 215 touched down at Tom Bradley Terminal, Los Angeles Airport at approximately 1:55 p.m. local time.

The Los Angeles route marks the first non-stop operation connecting Dubai to Los Angeles. Emirates is flying its Boeing 777-200LR on the route, offering 266 seats in a three class configuration and providing up to ten tons of cargo capacity. Initially, service will be offered three times per week – Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays – before offering daily service upon the arrival of additional aircraft.

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al-Maktoum Chairman and Chief Executive, Emirates Airline and Group said, “Los Angeles represents Emirates' commitment to the American market. We have evaluated the U.S. for expansion opportunities and have carefully examined our existing services in Houston and New York – both of which have been very successful. We look forward to recreating this success by connecting Los Angeles to Dubai and beyond.”

Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa said, “This route opens a new destination for business and leisure travelers in the Gulf region, a part of the world not previously served from Los Angeles. It will also enable travelers to reach every region of the world non-stop from LAX.”

The new flight runs a distance of 8,339 miles, clocking a journey time of 16 hours and 45 minutes from Dubai to Los Angeles, while the shorter return flight is just less than 16 hours. Flight 215 departs Dubai at 8:20 a.m., arriving in Los Angeles at 1:05 p.m. (local times). The return route, Flight 216, departs Los Angeles at 4:00 p.m., arriving in Dubai at 7:55 p.m. local time the following day.

The non-stop, long haul flight delivers the highest standards of comfort. Emirates' 777-200LR is fitted with eight luxurious private suites in first class, 42 of its latest lie-flat beds in business class, and generous space for 216 passengers in economy class.

Passengers in all classes enjoy the award-winning service from Emirates' international cabin crew recruited from over 100 countries around the world, including meals prepared by gourmet chefs and the airline's award-winning ice Digital Widescreen product (information, communication, entertainment) now boasting over 1,000 channels of entertainment in all classes and nearly 1,700 hours of video and audio entertainment.

The brand new $4.5 billion T3 terminal at the Dubai International Airport, which opened its doors on October 14, 2008, will welcome all flights to and from the Americas. T3 is designed to eventually handle 43 million passengers yearly. Featuring over 250 check-in desks, 26 gates and various retail and service offerings, T3 has already started to offer Emirates passengers exceptional comfort in travel.

The new route joins Emirates' growing network of American destinations including a double daily service to New York's JFK International Airport and a daily service to Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport. On 15 December, Emirates will introduce another service to the West Coast with a non-stop flight to San Francisco bringing its total number of U.S. gateways to four.

Emirates Receives Second A380

24 October, 2008

To operate daily A380 flights Dubai-New York JFK

DUBAI, UAE, 24th October 2008 - Emirates Airline received delivery of its second Airbus A380 superjumbo today, bringing its all wide-bodied aircraft fleet to 122, inclusive of freighters.

With Adel Al Redha, Emirates' Executive Vice President Engineering and Operations leading a group of Emirates engineers and executives onboard the delivery flight, the double-decked aircraft arrived in Dubai at 15:30hours local time, and will undergo standard checks and maintenance before entering commercial service on 27th October.

Designed to transport passengers on long-range journeys in unmatched comfort, Emirates’ second A380 will join its sibling, the airline’s first A380 delivered in July, on the Dubai-New York JFK non-stop service (EK201/202). This increases Emirates’ A380 service on the route to once-a-day from Sunday. Emirates operates two flights a day to New York JFK, the second daily service using a Boeing 777-300ER.

HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al-Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive, Emirates Airline and Group said: "Emirates has an environmental goal to operate the world's most eco-efficient fleet and our second A380's arrival will further reduce the airline's average fuel use per passenger.

"By 2013, the arrival of at least 100 new aircraft and the retirement of some older aircraft will see a further improvement in Emirates' overall fleet efficiency."

Emirates' A380s offer a fuel burn of three litres per 100 passenger kilometres, better than most hybrid cars.

The airline currently operates one of the youngest, most technologically-advanced and efficient fleets in the sky, with an average fleet age of under 65 months, half the industry average of 11 years. It is receiving an average of one new A380 or Boeing 777 a month, as part of its order of over 170 new aircraft from Boeing and Airbus. Emirates has another 56 A380 aircraft on firm order, of which two more will be delivered before the end of 2008.

Offering 14 private suites in First Class, 76 lie-flat seats with in-built massage function in Business, and 399 seats in Economy, Emirates has invested heavily in onboard features to ensure that its A380s are the finest, most comfortable in the sky. This includes the First Class Shower Spa, two fully equipped bathrooms in its First Class cabins with shower facilities, a spacious Onboard Lounge, and its award-winning ice inflight entertainment system that offers over 1,000 channels of movies, music and games on-demand in all classes.

Passengers will also notice a difference in the A380 Economy Class cabin, most notably the straight walls which give the impression of increased spaciousness. This feature, combined with the advanced mood lighting system and noticeably quieter cabin, works to combat the effects of jetlag.

Emirates’ second Airbus A380 approaches the Dubai International Airport
hub of the international carrier.

Star Alliance Launches New Brand Campaign

Core alliance customer benefits promoted

With the theme – “You’ve earned it”, Star Alliance will launch its new multi-platform brand campaign on Monday, October 20th, 2008. The campaign is aimed at increasing awareness and familiarity of the Alliance customer benefits, with a special emphasis on the value of global recognition for the frequent International traveller.

“Working away from home on international business trips can take its toll on the global frequent traveller, and the potential rewards for such travel are often simply not clear enough. Star Alliance was the first international airline alliance specifically set up with the frequent international traveller in mind, created to focus on the development of rewards, products and services aimed at providing hassle-free multi-airline, multi-destination travel,” said Mark Davies, Director of Marketing Communications for Star Alliance.

The campaign is supported by a series of short documentaries called “A Meeting of Minds”, produced in association with CNBC International, where budding entrepreneurs interview global business leaders on the art of doing business better, especially in emerging markets, and how these business leaders have taken their businesses from local to international.

One of the episodes shows entrepreneur Anthony Pereira, founder of U.S. renewable energy company, AltPower, meeting Simon Woodroffe, founder of Yo@ Company Holdings, which created Yo! Sushi and Yo! Hotel. All 10 episodes are lively, fast moving and show business leaders in London, New York, Beijing and Shanghai. These short films are available for viewing on the Star Alliance website.

“Being recognised as a special person across the alliance is not an easy logistical task to achieve, yet with more than 11 years of experience in this field, we know we’re best placed to be at the forefront of this global challenge. Through this campaign, we are aiming simply to remind our core international audience of the benefits we’re spearheading for the industry, including alliance-wide priority baggage; Connection Centres at our major hubs and Alliance lounges to name but a few. After all, our frequent international travellers have truly earned it!,” added Davies.

Complementing the campaign, Star Alliance has also developed an international business etiquette guide to recognise the importance of different cultures when doing business around the world. This has been produced in association with international magazine Monocle.

The campaign was designed, together with advertising agency Touch DDB, to highlight the fact that Star Alliance products, services and rewards were developed to help customers alleviate the stress of travel.

The multi-platform media campaign, developed with media agency MEC, has advertisements on targeted news, business and travel websites that direct visitors to a video landing page on our Alliance website. The campaign will also run in Star Alliance’s 21 member carriers’ in-flight magazines, on entertainment channels and in posters at London-Heathrow and Paris-Charles de Gaulle airports.

The A380 has set new standards for passenger comfort during its initial year of revenue airline service, providing reliable long-range flights to destinations in Singapore, Australia, Japan, the United Arab Emirates, England and the United States.

On today's first anniversary of the A380's entry in service, a total of nine A380s are now in the fleets of Singapore Airlines, Emirates and Qantas. Singapore Airlines introduced A380 operations on 25 October 2007, and currently has a total of six aircraft. This was followed by Emirates of the United Arab Emirates, which started flights in August 2008 and has two A380s in its inventory. Qantas inaugurated service earlier this month with the Australian-based carrier's first-delivered A380.

All three airlines have chosen cabin layouts that benefit from the A380's spacious two main decks and its new technology, and which allow operators to offer high levels of service for all passengers.

Singapore Airlines' A380 layout has a total of 471 seats in three classes of service. The Singapore Airlines Suites - offered exclusively on the A380 - provide a private space with its largest seat ever: an armchair with adjustable headrest and armrests. Included in the suite is a stand-alone bed, topped off with a turn-down service, fine linen and full-sized pillows.

In Singapore Airlines' New Business Class, the A380 seats are the widest in their category, with each leather seat unfolding to the largest full-flat bed of its type. Singapore Airlines' New Economy Class has roomier seats and the widest choice of on-demand entertainment options, presented on a 10.6-inch-wide LCD screen.

The Emirates A380 configuration is with a 14-seat First Class cabin, 76 seats in Business Class and a 399-seat Economy Class. This arrangement includes the First Class Shower Spa: two fully-equipped bathrooms in its First Class cabins with shower facilities. The A380 also has an Emirates Onboard Lounge in the Business Class cabin for use by both First and Business Class passengers, which is designed to make travellers feel like they are in their own executive club. Another First Class social area and bar is located at the front of the upper deck.

In Emirates' A380 Economy Class cabin, straight walls give the impression of increased spaciousness, and this feature - combined with an advanced mood lighting system and the Airbus 21st century jetliner's noticeably quieter cabin - works to combat the effects of jetlag.

Qantas' A380 is configured with 450 seats in four cabins: 14 in First Class, 72 in Business Class, 32 in Premium Economy and 332 in Economy Class. The 14 single private suites in First Class feature a 17-inch wide-screen LCD video monitor, a unique touch-screen control unit, and a seat that swivels into a comfortable armchair and a fully flat, extra long and wide bed.

The next generation of Qantas' award-winning Business Class Skybed sleeper seat offers an extra-long, fully lie-flat bed with ergonomically-enhanced cushioning, a larger in-arm entertainment screen, additional storage options and more privacy. Qantas' Premium Economy seats have fully adjustable, in-arm digital widescreen television monitors. A self-service bar is dedicated to the upper-deck Premium Economy cabin. For Economy Class, the A380's seats feature a sliding base that moves with the seatback to create a more comfortable, ergonomically-tested position to aid sleep and eliminate pressure points, along with a foot net to stop sliding during sleep.

For more information on the A380's first year in commercial service, see the press release in the Press centre.

Alaska and Horizon join oneworld's Global Explorer round-the-world fare
28 October 2008

The networks of Alaska Airlines and its regional affiliate Horizon Air are now available through Global Explorer, the round-the-world fare offered by members of the oneworld® alliance and selected other airlines.

With oneworld member elect Mexicana and its Click Mexicana affiliate participating in this fare since 1 September, the addition of Alaska and Horizon means that Global Explorer offers better coverage of The Americas than any comparable type of ticket offered by any other airline alliance.

oneworld's fares already offered the most extensive networks and flexibility for travel in Latin America, as the only airline alliance with any members based in South America through Chile's LAN Airlines and its affiliates LAN Argentina, LAN Ecuador and LAN Peru.

Alaska and Horizon combined offer the most extensive networks serving the USA's West Coast. Between them, they add almost 50 gateways in the USA, Canada and Mexico to Global Explorer - taking the number of airports covered by the fare in the USA, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central America to virtually 300, with another 60 or so in South America. Worldwide, the total number of destinations available through Global Explorer reaches some 700 in around 150 countries.

Global Explorer enables travel on all oneworld's existing ten members and their 20 or so affiliated carriers - plus selected airlines that are not part of oneworld, expanding the network covered by the fare further still.

oneworld's members comprise ten of the biggest and best in the industry, all renowned for the quality of their customer service - American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Finnair, Iberia, Japan Airlines, LAN, Malév Hungarian Airlines, Qantas and Royal Jordanian - and some 20 affiliated carriers, including LAN Argentina, LAN Ecuador, LAN Peru, China's Dragonair and South Africa's Comair. Mexicana will join the grouping during 2009, with Click Mexicana as an affiliate member.

Besides these oneworld airlines, travellers using the Global Explorer fare can also fly on Aer Lingus, Air Pacific, Gulf Air and now also Alaska Airlines and Horizon Airlines. Flights carrying the Qantas code but operated by Air Niugini, Air Tahiti Nui, Air Vanuatu, Air Vietnam, Aircalin and South African Airways are included too.

oneworld is the only alliance with a truly global network as the only airline grouping with any carriers based Australia or Asia's Middle East besides South America.

Global Explorer offers simple, flexible, and great value round-the-world travel for trips up to one year long. Four versions are available. For details, see below.

Global Explorer is one of two round-the-world fares offered by oneworld. Its other round-the-world fare is oneworld Explorer. This includes travel on the alliance's existing member airlines and affiliates only. Uniquely, prices are based on the number of continents visited, rather than on the distance flown. oneworld is set to be the first in the travel industry to sell multi-airline round-the-world air fares on-line when it activates its on-line booking tool for oneworld Explorer in the coming weeks.

oneworld offers a wider range of alliance fares than any of its competitors. For those who don't want to fly all around the world, these include Visit passes for each continent or multi-continent Circle fares.

About Global Explorer

Four versions of Global Explorer are available. Tiers 1, 2 and 4 are for travel only in Economy Class, but Tier 3 can be used also in First or Business. Not all tiers are available from all countries.

RELEASE: 08-273

NASA ORBITER REVEALS DETAILS OF A WETTER MARS

WASHINGTON -- NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter has observed a new
category of minerals spread across large regions of Mars. This
discovery suggests that liquid water remained on the planet's surface
a billion years later than scientists believed, and it played an
important role in shaping the planet's surface and possibly hosting
life.

Researchers examining data from the orbiter's Compact Reconnaissance
Imaging Spectrometer for Mars have found evidence of hydrated silica,
commonly known as opal. The hydrated, or water-containing, mineral
deposits are telltale signs of where and when water was present on
ancient Mars.

"This is an exciting discovery because it extends the time range for
liquid water on Mars, and the places where it might have supported
life," said Scott Murchie, the spectrometer's principal investigator
at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory in Laurel,
Md. "The identification of opaline silica tells us that water may
have existed as recently as 2 billion years ago."

Until now, only two major groups of hydrated minerals, phyllosilicates
and hydrated sulfates, had been observed by spacecraft orbiting Mars.
Clay-like phyllosilicates formed more than 3.5 billion years ago
where igneous rock came into long-term contact with water. During the
next several hundred million years, until approximately 3 billion
years ago, hydrated sulfates formed from the evaporation of salty and
sometimes acidic water.

The newly discovered opaline silicates are the youngest of the three
types of hydrated minerals. They formed where liquid water altered
materials created by volcanic activity or meteorite impact on the
Martian surface. One such location noted by scientists is the large
Martian canyon system called Valles Marineris.

"We see numerous outcrops of opal-like minerals, commonly in thin
layers extending for very long distances around the rim of Valles
Marineris and sometimes within the canyon system itself," said Ralph
Milliken of NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif.

Milliken is lead author of an article in the November issue of
"Geology" that describes the identification of opaline silica. The
study reveals that the minerals, which also were recently found in
Gusev Crater by NASA's Mars rover Spirit, are widespread and occur in
relatively young terrains.

In some locations, the orbiter's spectrometer observed opaline silica
with iron sulfate minerals, either in or around dry river channels.
This indicates the acidic water remained on the Martian surface for
an extended period of time. Milliken and his colleagues believe that
in these areas, low-temperature acidic water was involved in forming
the opal. In areas where there is no clear evidence that the water
was acidic, deposits may have formed under a wide range of
conditions.

"What's important is that the longer liquid water existed on Mars, the
longer the window during which Mars may have supported life," says
Milliken. "The opaline silica deposits would be good places to
explore to assess the potential for habitability on Mars, especially
in these younger terrains."

The spectrometer collects 544 colors, or wavelengths, of reflected
sunlight to detect minerals on the surface of Mars. Its highest
resolution is about 20 times sharper than any previous look at the
planet in near-infrared wavelengths.

NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory manages the Mars Reconnaissance
Orbiter mission for NASA's Science Mission Directorate in Washington.
Lockheed Martin Space Systems, Denver, is the prime contractor for
the project and built the spacecraft. The Applied Physics Laboratory
led the effort to build the spectrometer and operates the instrument
in coordination with an international team of researchers from
universities, government and the private sector.
